A deeper Well
Diving through the surface waves
The ripples of tears
Into the anger and pain
Of countless years
Levels and layers
Of darkness and fears
Meeting the Echoes
Of a distant past
Listening to their pain
And hearing at last
A deeper knowing
For all the grief
Understanding the reasons
Starts to bring relief
Only by diving deeper
Can we begin to know
The truth beneath
Can start to flow
That underneath
The concrete floor
A deeper well
Runs ever more
A deeper well
A truth that's true
Connecting everything
Yes, me and you
The source of all
To dive into
No story, no excuses
No tears, no sound
A silence so abundant
A peace so profound
Dis-ease disappears
